A Moral Lesson

 An animal(donkey) fell into a well one day.

The farmer struggled to decide what to do as the animal wailed piteously for hours.

Finally, he concluded that it would not be worthwhile to rescue the donkey because it was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyhow.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and lend a hand. They each took a shovel and started dumping dirt into the well.

The donkey initially became aware of what was happening and wailed hysterically. Then, to everyone's surprise, the donkey stopped Screaming. The sage animal devised a scheme.

The donkey shrugged off each spadeful of dirt that hit his back before stepping higher up on the earthen mound. The mound eventually rose to a height where he could exit the well and happily gallop away.

You will be covered in all kinds of dirt by life. Shake it off and take a step higher are the keys to climbing out of the well. We can escape even the most bottomless pit if we keep going and never give up. Shake it off and move forward.
