Last date of income tax return in Pakistan


  

If you are looking for the last date of the income tax return in Pakistan, you are in the right place. The final date for salaried, business, and association of persons (AOPs) to file their income tax returns is September 30, 2022, according to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).


In a statement made public by the board, FBR claimed that taxpayers receive clear instructions on how to fill out all of the form's necessary details.


By downloading the Tax Aasaan application from the Google Play Store or App Store, income tax returns can also be filed online using cell phones, according to the statement.

The revenue board indicated that a media campaign would soon be launched to facilitate taxpayers and public awareness to maximize general awareness.


As Government has announced the last date for filling the income tax returns, you have sufficient time to submit your returns. The FBR has uploaded the income tax return forms for 2022. It should be noted that different income tax return forms have been uploaded for salaried employees, AOPs, self-employed people, and businesses.


Either the Tax Asaan programme or the FBR's web portal (Iris System) can be used to file income tax returns.
