Quran and Science

Albert Einstein, Nobel Prize winner and famous physicist, said, "Science without religion is lame, and religion without science is blind." 

"Quran and science" is an important topic to discuss for Muslims and non-Muslims to show them the right path. Let me tell you that the glorious Quran is not a book of science but rather a book of signs. Out of the more than 6000 ayats in the glorious Quran, more than 1,000 discuss science. In my talk today, I will only discuss scientific facts; I won't discuss scientific hypotheses or theories because most of us know how frequently these things turn out false. 

The more people compare Quran and Science, they come to know that the Quran is a remarkable book. We can say that 80 percent of what the Quran purports to have said is 100 percent true. The remaining 20% is unclear, neither right nor wrong, and not a single percent of that 20% has been proven incorrect. Since no verse in the Quran has ever been shown to be false by accepted science, even the 20% will, inshallah, be accurate whether it is now or tomorrow, fifty years from now, one hundred years from now, or a thousand years from now.

One reason behind the fastest-growing religion(Islam) is the similarities between Quran and modern science. More than 1,000 verses in the glorious Quran speak about science. Scientists were able to discover these facts ranging from 40 to 400 years back, but Quran was revealed on the face of earth 1,400 years ago. So we can say that Quran is more authentic and advanced than today's scientists. Even scientists are unable to say anything about the remaining 20% of what is not yet proved.

Based on these facts, we can say that an ordinary man cannot write Quran. It's a gift from Allah.
